Peran Video Animasi Pendidikan dalam Desain Pembelajaran PAI: Teknik untuk Mengembangkan Prinsip Moral Remaja
Abstract
This study aims to examine the role of educational animated videos in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning design as a strategy for strengthening moral values among adolescents. The background of this study is based on the increasingly complex moral challenges faced by adolescents in the digital age due to the rapid pace of globalization and exposure to social media. Conventional IRE learning, which is lecture-centered, is considered ineffective in instilling moral values contextually, thus requiring innovative digital media-based learning that is engaging, reflective, and relevant to the world of adolescents.
This study uses a library research approach by examining various educational theories, instructional design models, and the latest scientific research results related to the effectiveness of animated video media in values education. The analysis was conducted descriptively and comparatively to find conceptual patterns and empirical findings that support the effectiveness of animated media in PAI learning.
The results of the study show that educational animated videos have been proven to increase students' motivation, understanding, and internalization of moral values through a combination of integrated visuals, narration, and emotions. The integration of moral values such as honesty, responsibility, and empathy into the animated storyline plays an important role in shaping the moral awareness of adolescents. However, its implementation still faces obstacles in the form of limited infrastructure, teachers' digital competence, and suboptimal curriculum adaptation.
The implications of this study confirm that educational animated videos have the potential to become a model for interactive, reflective, and character-building Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in the future, provided that they are supported by teacher training, the development of a digital curriculum based on Islamic values, and collaboration between educators and content creators. Thus, animated media not only functions as educational entertainment but also as a strategic instrument in shaping a generation of adolescents with noble character and religious values in the digital age.
