PERAN GURU PENDIDIKAN KEWARGANEGARAAN DALAM MEMBANGUN KARAKTER SISWA DI MADRASAH TSANAWIYAH NEGERI 6 SRAGEN
Abstract
This study aims to analyze strategies that can be implemented to enhance the effectiveness of Civics Education (PKn) teachers in building students' character at MTsN 6 Sragen. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, the research collects data through interviews with PKn teachers and the headmaster, as well as document studies on syllabi and lesson plans. The study finds that several strategies to enhance value-based learning effectiveness include professional training and development for teachers, the use of innovative learning media, collaboration between schools and families, and the implementation of project-based learning. Additionally, the role of teachers as role models and value-based assessments are identified as key factors for successful character building. The implications of this research suggest that strengthening school policies and updating the curriculum with a character-based approach are necessary to support more effective learning processes. The findings provide new insights into the development of higher-quality PKn learning at junior high schools.
